現在已經沒有什麼人在吵這個問題了
台灣的拼音系統爭議和諸多公共議題一般，被大眾很快的遺忘
成為短期間痞子立委和痞子市長用來炒作新聞的犧牲者
現在全國只有台北市的路標使用漢語拼音
我不知道台北縣在小跟班變成小當家之後會不會改
不過唯一肯定的是，這不是本國行政院頒布的拼音系統標準
兩岸兩國的官方語言都是北京官話
想當然爾其中必有一國的首都不在北京
北京話在經過「說母語就罰錢」的恐怖統治之下經過數十冬
使得台灣人即使不願意，也得操著台灣話口音說著北京話
從馬關條約簽訂以來超過百年
台灣人和中國人過著截然不同的生活 – 不論是實質上的物件或是精神層面的想法
因此北京話在終戰之後被帶到台灣
在同化台灣人之餘，也一樣被台灣人同化
現在即使是外省人，也會滿嘴 你很songˊ、姦恁娘、哭父、哭餓
反而會說 肏你奶奶的熊 的沒剩下幾隻
同樣的，對於相同一種官話的發音，在兩國也有許多相異
由於福佬話當中沒有捲舌音 (客家話好像有一些聲母?)
因此大部分台灣人說 ㄗㄓ、ㄘㄔ、ㄙㄕ 的時候不是很能夠說清楚
在透過羅馬字母拼音的時候，兩國當然也會注重在不同的地方上
如果常聽 ICRT 就不難發現
在外國受過中文訓練 (當然是用漢語拼音做為輔助工具) 的 DJ
都會說「宗孝東路」「叢慶北路」「台北寺區」
這是因為在漢語拼音當中:
ㄗ=>z ㄘ=>c ㄙ=>s
ㄓ=>zh ㄔ=>ch ㄕ=>sh
對於不會說的捲舌音大部分的外國人都會選擇離他們最接近的音
而這也是漢語拼音的刻意設計
不過在通用拼音上，台灣有其他的考量
為了讓人可以體會到捲舌的感覺，通用拼音在一些較為特別的聲符上做了些修改
像是ㄓ改用 jh 代替，對不太會說「台中」的人就會說成「台ㄐㄨㄥ」
制定通用拼音的學者大概是覺得這樣比較接近台灣人對北京話的體驗
有一些台灣人批評漢語拼音用了些怪異的字母
像是ㄑ被配對到 q，常見 青島=>Qingdao
還有ㄒ配對 x，常見 西安=>Xian
但是漢語拼音之所以叫做漢語拼音，就是因為他要用漢語的方式發音
看到 q 就該想到要唸ㄑ
而不是讓一些習慣英語發音的人用羅馬字母對應的英語發音去發音
如果按照此批評者同樣的想法
許多使用羅馬字母的斯拉夫國家的字才叫做奇怪
請問 Brno、vrch 這種字該怎麼唸? 當然是用捷克語的發音方式去唸!
又有多少這樣批評漢語拼音人知道英文的 colonel 和 kernel 發完全一樣的音?
最後
我認為通用拼音與漢語拼音的差別
只是兩個說同樣一種官話的不同的國家對官話不同的經驗罷了
通用拼音的制定者強調該系統可以配合大部分不論族群的台灣人學習
是一套專門針對台灣人設計的羅馬拼音
這與能不能與國際接軌沒有關係
拼音終究是為了本國人設計的
擔心外國人看不懂的人，不如擔心去新加坡卻無法跟他們用新加坡英語溝通好了!

This program is coded in 3 days and compiled with Qt 3.2.1, so it fully supports Unicode. It is to be used to list all processes in the system and their modules loaded and, the main feature, to inject a DLL into other processes by using CreateRemoteThread() call.
Living in East Asia, it’s definitely impossible to display and type only English and one’s mother tongue on computers. Internationalization (aka i18n) is a great concept and has been implemented in tons of applications running on unix-like (including Mac OS X) systems. However the fact is that poeple are not so lucky while using Windows – most of Windows applications, especially closed code apps, are not programmed to deal with multilanguage environment.
The main problem lies on the Windows API they select to use. Under Windows NT and its descendant, all messages are transformed and handled in Unicode. Consequently a new set of Windows API is created for dealing with Unicode strings without transformation from local 8-bit encoding to Unicode inside the system. This set of APIs can create Unicode-supported UI so typing Unicode-encoded characters via IME becomes possible.
After almost 5 years of the release of Windows XP and its quick and wide-spread expansion, there are still people continuously writing non-Unicode softwares, including me. I personally dislike .NET technology despite I can’t deny it’s a great invention and evolution of Windows programming library. So I choose Qt because I prefer to install a KDE Desktop on my Linux and the library provides a power IDE – Qt Designer – which is very friendly to a BCB developer like me.
This program is only a experiment to me for developing with Qt and, most importantly, practicing Japanese.
有一段時間沒有接觸 Linux 了，最近一時興起抓了 openSUSE 10.0 來看看在開放給社群維護之後的 SuSE Linux 變成什麼樣子。出乎我的意料之外，從 GRUB 開始就出現嚇到我的畫面：
以下是 splash 在跑的畫面以及 KDE 的登入及載入畫面，和上圖的 GRUB 比較之後，可以發現 splash 的背景圖片居然用高失真率的壓縮，左下角一列的黃色圓圈與白色文字都顯現出了可怕的邊界效應，這應該是開發團隊不小心忽略而造成的瑕疵：
被併購之後的 SuSE Linux 中文支援度有明顯地改善，在安裝的時候選擇語系為正體中文之後不會再像前面幾版漏掉安裝幾款非常重要的 rpm。不過我還是很討厭預設的 TrueType 模糊字形，字體大小夠大的時候固然好看，小 size 的時候就模糊在一起了。應該要靠點陣互補，不過因為某些未知的原因我安裝新細明體失敗了，所以暫時用自行安裝的 Firefly 字形替代，現在看起來好多了：
現在 Linux Kernel 對不同硬體的支援程度越來越好，早已超過 Windows XP 的支援能力，從 YaST2 裡面的硬體設定選項可以略知一二。又 KDE 的登出畫面居然抄襲 Windows XP 的背景灰階化特效，雖然有種親切感，但是總覺得失去了發展自己激點的空間。Think different 才是可以促進人類文明進化的方針啊 :Q….
